Hi Everyone, I am annoyed again, I seem to be easily annoyed these days, my gp wanted me to see a Neurologist because my feet are numb, I only saw him just before christmas so was suprised to see a letter from the hospital today, my optimism was short-lived, it was a letter from Choose and Book, asking me to make an appt so I duly rung them and, wait for it, there were no appts available so they will have to send my details to the hospital and wait for them to send me an appt.

I have to ask this question - what is the point of Choose and Book? I am hoping that someone can tell me whether they are really worthwhile love Kimxx

It's just a load of b****** Kim. I'm not surprised you are angry. Can you ring the guy's secretary and ask for any cancellation appointments that may come in?

Love

hi Kim, I often wonder if they know what theyre doing anyway, I needed and appt as I bruise easily and quite badly, so my GP duly sen toff a letter. Within a week I had a letter from the haemotology dept at St. Thomas hospital asking me to make an appt. When I rang they said there are no appt available, but due to having to see a new patient within 8 weeks their manager will look into it. Then I received a letter for an appt on 13 Jan. 3 days later another letter cancelling this appt, as I was to be seen by haemophillia clinic instead, and sorry for the inconvenience. Then another letter from haemophillia clinic arrived offering me appt for the next day, as I work thats not possible, so I called, and wonder of wonders, they had an appt the next week!! Crazy system!!RollEyes

Hi, the only thing to do they say is to wait 14 days, if I don't hear from they to contact my gp, I shouldn't really be suprised by it all, Malcolm sees this same Neurologist about his epilepsy, he is worth than useless and transfers Malcolm to Hope hospital in Manchester, which is difficult to from Macclesfield, so hopefully I will get a letter within the 14 days love Kimxx
